Sallie Sirmon, Nurse Coordinator

Sallie Sirmon is head of medical support for Middle Georgia Honor flight. Her area covers recruiting and training, support and scheduling of the medical team members who accompany the veterans and guardians on each flight. I have 38 years of nursing include Hospital, Industry, Doctor's practice, Pediatric and Hospice. Sallie, and husband Bill Sirmon (Speaker for Honor Flight) have 2 children, 3 grandchildren, at least a dozen honorary grandchildren and a sweet dog; Katie. The Sirmons enjoy working together to support Middle Georgia Honor flight.

Roger Jennings, Board Member

Roger L. Jennings is the Co-founder of Middle Georgia Honor Flight from its inception in February 2018 to date. Middle Georgia Honor Flight is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides free trips to Washington DC for US War Veterans to view/visit their monuments and memorials. Roger is a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the US Air Force with 47 continuous years of service, including 21 years Active Duty and 26 years Civil Service at Robins AFB. He holds a BS Degree in Management from Park University, and an MBA in Aviation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
